Welcome to my crafting blog!  Ever since my sister's wedding in August, I have become obsessed with crafting.  My sister crafted everything from her menus, place cards, center pieces, and out-of-town bags.  She was truly the "DIY Bride," and I became the "DIY Maid-of-Honor."  I became obsessed with helping her with formats, cutting and pasting, and googling ideas to make her wedding the perfect day - which it definitely was!  When it came time to plan her bridal shower, I became obsessed with details.  The decorations had to be perfect for the beach themed shower.

Crafting has become a passion of mine - and I want to be able to share my love for crafting with everyone and anyone!  As you will see, I love anything and everything bright and preppy, which is why I've named this blog "The Bright Side of Life."  I hope you enjoy it - and find yourself crafting new things as well!
